What is always amazing to me is how the progressive socialist left rants about something not realizing their own hypocrisy. It is almost as if they have forgotten that we can go back and pull up videos and stories about them doing the very same thing about which they are complaining. Case in point, the recent unhinged meltdowns about Attorney General Bill Barr. I recently took to Facebook to remind them of just a few of the egregious actions by Attorney Generals Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch during the Obama administration. Doggone, Holder’s little gun-running scheme was the reason why a US Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry, lost his life. Hmm, I heard nothing about Holder stepping down, resigning, or being impeached. Yep, the left has a serious case of foot-in-mouth — or possibly another orifice — disease.
Here we have another example of their insidious hypocrisy, and it is rather embarrassing. As reported by Fox News:
“Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz said Sunday he has proof that former President Barack Obama “personally asked” the FBI to investigate someone “on behalf of George Soros,” the liberal billionaire megadonor. Dershowitz’s claim came soon after Attorney General Bill Barr openly asked President Trump to stop tweeting about the ongoing Justice Department matters, saying it made it “impossible” to do his job. Barr, who also maintained that Trump never personally intervened in a criminal matter despite Democrats’ allegations, was hit last week by a letter from former DOJ officials organized by a leftwing group demanding his resignation.
“There was a lot of White House control of the Justice Department during the Kennedy administration and I don’t think we saw very many liberal professors arguing against that,” Dershowitz said in an interview with Breitbart News that aired Sunday on SiriusXM. “I have some information as well about the Obama administration – which will be disclosed in a lawsuit at some point, but I’m not prepared to disclose it now – about how President Obama personally asked the FBI to investigate somebody on behalf of George Soros, who was a close ally of his.” He did not say specifically who the target might have been.
Dershowitz added: “We’ve seen this kind of White House influence on the Justice Department virtually in every Justice Department. The difference: This president is much more overt about it, he tweets about it. President Obama whispered to the Justice Department about it. And, I don’t think these 1,000 former Justice Department officials would pass the shoe-on-the-other-foot test. Maybe some of them would, but a good many of them wouldn’t.”
Pressed on the claim that Obama pressed for an FBI probe, Dershowitz responded: “That’s going to come out in a lawsuit in the near future, yeah. That is not unusual. People whisper to presidents all the time; presidents whisper to the Justice Department all the time. It’s very common; it’s wrong, whoever does it — but it’s common, and we shouldn’t think it’s unique to any particular president. I have in my possession the actual 302 [witness report] form which documents this issue and it will at the right time come out, but I’m not free to disclose it now because it’s a case that’s not yet been filed.”
I would offer this tidbit of advice to the progressive socialist let here in America, “if you live in a glass house, do not throw stones.” As well, I must offer kudos and a special hat tip to Alan Dershowitz. He is a principled man. Dershowitz did not vote for Donald Trump, but he recognizes wrong when he sees it. I have met Professor Dershowitz on two occasions, we both spoke at a rally in NYC against the Obama folly called the Iran Nuclear Agreement, and we were both on the Greg Gutfeld Show. The professor is a funny fella. His principles are what guide him and make him the ire of the left. The clear point to realize here is he is not a Trump sycophant, but, unlike Obama, Dershowitz is a real Constitutional lawyer.
I have often said — and perhaps it is coming to fruition — that time would reveal the true nefarious nature of Barack Obama and his administration. Consider this: what self-indulging narcissist would try to take credit for the booming US economy, rather than the president and administration responsible for it?
It was Obama who derided and disparaged then-candidate Trump saying that those manufacturing jobs would never come back. Obama asserted that Trump would need a magic wand. I guess Trump has a magic wand. What is also very delusional is when these buffoons calling themselves Democrat Party presidential candidates are saying the economy is terrible and not working for everyone. Obama is coming out and taking credit for a great economy.
Perhaps the left is not suffering from foot-in-mouth disease but rather head-up-the-arse affliction.
Despite that, the failures of the leftist ideological agenda are being revealed, and sadly, they are condemning themselves. Nope, the Democrats do not want a Bernie Sanders at the top of their ticket. They are incapable of defending the indefensible: socialism. Once upon a time, as Professor Dershowitz articulated, they whispered it among themselves, seeking to lie and deceive us. Bernie is the only honest one in their lot, in that he is telling us, unequivocally, that he wants to destroy America, the America that we know and love.
As we all know, the best disinfectant is sunlight. Professor Alan Dershowitz is about to cast a very bright light on the evil and corruption of the left. Of course, we know that truth to a progressive socialist is like light to a vampire!
