Retribution against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)

The CCP’s Rapid Rise
America is extremely fortunate for having a group of extraordinary, virtuous men led by President Washington, a faithful Christian, to establish the nation’s foundation; whereas China in the last 70 years is extremely ill-fated for having Karl Marx, a vile man worshiping Satan to lay its groundwork. The communist doctrines are completely against the founding principles of America; hence America and communist China represent two opposite value systems in the universe: good vs. vice, freedom vs. tyranny.
Back in 1972, when Nixon opened the doors of a secluded China, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was immersed in the radical, catastrophic “Great Cultural Revolution.” The country was in dire poverty. But 48 years later, China has turned into an economic giant, even touting to replace America as the next superpower.
“All the CCP’s ambitions — which it pursues through soft power, hard power, and sharp power — are based on a total disregard for morality and are aimed at serving its larger ambition of destroying traditional morality and universal values. The CCP’s goal is to establish itself as an evil empire and world ruler. It aims to bring totalitarian oppression to the world — a global police state characterized by brainwashing, mind control, mass surveillance, the elimination of private ownership, official atheism, the elimination of religion and traditional culture, unrestrained carnal desires, corruption, and moral degeneration. Its aim is to drag the world into poverty and turmoil, turning men into beasts and sending mankind into an abyss of moral degradation. All this is the path arranged by the communist specter in its attempt to destroy mankind.”

After the pandemic outbreak, many have recognized the true nature of the CCP and begun to reflect upon our stance on the CCP in the last few decades. How did the red beast rise so rapidly?
In 1976, Mao’s death ended the Cultural Revolution. When Deng took power in 1978, the CCP was forced to make limited economic reforms to prevent an imminent economic collapse. To rescue the dying CCP, Deng unabashedly chanted a new slogan: “whether it is white or black if it could catch mice, it is a good cat.” This paved the road for the children of the CCP elites (also called the “Red Second Generation”) to enrich themselves by all means.
In 1989, the general public’s anger over the CCP’s corruption boiled to large-scale protests nationwide but the voice was soon muted by the tanks. Immediately after his ruthless execution of the protest students at Tiananmen Square, Jiang Zemin – then mayor of Shanghai – received a rocket boost and climbed to the throne of the CCP head. Jiang’s disgraceful raise left him insecure. In 1999, out of jealousy over the popularity of Falun Gong, Jiang launched an unprecedented genocide in human history. Around 2000, he gave orders to harvest organs from live Falun Gong practitioners for high-profit transplant surgeries. It is a crime no one has ever seen on this planet.
Falun Gong is an ancient self-improving practice that endorses the traditional values of “Truth, Kindness, and Forbearance.” After destroying these values, Jiang rushed to fill the void. “Put Money Above All,” “Make a Big Fortune Quietly” became the new purpose of life for many, driving the Chinese civilians to the edge of moral corruption. In 2001, the CCP obtained the permanent most favorable nation (MFN) status. This offered Jiang and the CCP the golden opportunity to launch economic warfare against the West. Even today, Jiang and his sons remain the deep state in China.
From 2001 to 2019, the CCP saw a golden era of economic development. Without the aid of the Western, especially the American companies, the CCP could not have possibly achieved such a rapid rise. Coincidentally, those 18 years are also China’s darkest time in human rights violations.
Using China’s market access as bait, the CCP enticed enormous capitals and technologies from the world. The Western companies found China’s cheap-yet-hardworking labor force highly favorable. A large number of the Western companies herded to China and formed various joint ventures with the CCP. Such a joint venture requires Western companies to transfer the technologies to the CCP.

At the 2017 Davos Forum, Alibaba’s CEO Jack Ma, the richest man in China took the podium. When being questioned about selling counterfeit products on his platform, Ma rebutted, “fake goods are often a better quality and better priced”. Ma’s words were enthusiastically hailed by many fellow Chinese. This very incident reflects the general mindset in today’s China.
Connections between the Pandemic and American Tech Giants
Amid the pandemic, many have observed a pattern: the closer the ties with the CCP, the worse the pandemic. This pattern not only applies to nations and regions but also organizations and individuals. Hence, many understand this pandemic is retribution to the CCP and its allies.
If it was the blood transfusion from Wall Street to the CCP that brought bad luck to New York, what made New Jersey the 2nd biggest Coronavirus victim state in America? The answer lies in many high-tech companies in New Jersey. Many are deeply coupled with the CCP. These tech giants not only transferred technologies to, but also invested heavily in the CCP to foster the latter’s growth.
The CCP is extremely skillful attempting people with benefits to go against their own conscience. Those who are trapped often end up either choosing silence in the face of the CCP’s human rights violations or becoming an accomplice singing the CCP’s praises. Many tech giants in New Jersey is such cases.
Honeywell’s Thrive in China
In May 2017, China’s first large passenger aircraft (the C919) completed its successful maiden flight in Shanghai. This passenger aircraft, touted as “China’s indigenously-developed aircraft” by the CCP, poses a serious challenge to Boeing and Airbus. Honeywell’s technology played an essential role in the success of C919. CCP’s Xin Hua News Agency reported:
“Honeywell stated that with nearly 1,000 of their employees across the world working to support the C919 project, the entire Honeywell workforce shared COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China)’s pride at the success of the first flight.
Darius Adamczyk, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell was one of the first to send his congratulations to COMAC Chairman Jin Zhuanglong, which read: ‘We are extremely proud that COMAC chose Honeywell to provide four major systems for this sleek and modern aircraft. We are proud of our partnership with COMAC and eager to continue to help advance aviation capabilities in China.’” (https://en.imsilkroad.com/p/60643.html)
Honeywell is reported to have provided C919 with a flight control system, wheel brake system, auxiliary power unit and other critical equipment. In compliance with the request of the CCP, Honeywell did not supply these parts directly, but became a supplier of C919 through four joint ventures– a common tactic used by the CCP to force technology transfer.
Honeywell built its R&D center in Shanghai as early as 2007 and invested $100 million to expand its Asia Pacific regional headquarters and Shanghai R&D facilities in 2016.
In December 2016, China Daily published an article based on an interview with Darius Adamczyk, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell:
“He (CEO of Honeywell) believes the place to achieve such ‘breakthroughs’ is in China, its second largest market after the United States. Adamczyk is clear about how committed Honeywell is to the country－with its major presence, 13,000 employees and diversified businesses in manufacturing and research and development, serving both the Chinese market and international markets. ‘When I think about China, I can’t think of a company that’s more aligned to the needs of where the country is heading,’ said Adamczyk.” (https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/business/qaceo/2016-12/30/content_27818779.htm)
Honeywell ranked No. 77 in the Fortune 500 companies in 2018. The company headquarter, located in New Jersey since 1958, was just moved to North Carolina in 2019. The company still maintains several R & D centers in New Jersey.
Honeywell’s product line covers clean energy, personal protection equipment, thermostats for air conditioners, air purifiers, water purifiers, petrochemicals, automotive materials, etc. Honeywell is also the world’s leading manufacturer of avionics system integrator. On every Boeing aircraft, about 30% of parts come from Honeywell. Today, Honeywell is reported to have more than 50 joint ventures and enterprises, 5 R&D Centers, and 20 factories in China.
“China Dream” for Pharmaceutical Giants
New Jersey is known as the center of the pharmaceutical industry in America and the world. Among the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the United States, 12 select New Jersey as their corporate headquarter or regional headquarter, including Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Celgene, etc.
In recent years, to achieve higher profits, international pharmaceutical giants have transferred their R & D centers to low-cost regions; or outsourced the R&D to other countries using CRO (pharmaceutical R & D outsourcing) model. China’s loose environmental regulations made it a favorite destination for such outsourcing.
Between 2009 and 2019, Chinese pharmaceutical industry enjoyed its “golden decade.” Many global pharmaceutical companies rushed to China, bringing enormous investment and advanced technologies to the CCP.
For example, Merck, the fourth largest pharmaceutical company in the world, entered China after the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre with a generous gift. In September 1989, then Merck president Roy Vagelos decided to transfer the latest genetically engineered hepatitis B vaccine technology to China for only $7 million, which could not even cover the cost for Merck to send its employees to China for setup and training. In 1993, Merck in China produced the first batch of this vaccine.
In 2011, Merck invested $1.5 billion to establish a China R&D center in Beijing. In 2013, a new $120 million, 75,000 square meter Merck East Hangzhou plant was officially put into use. This is by far the most advanced, also one of the largest pharmaceutical production and packaging plants in China.
Now Merck sells 17 drugs in China with more coming in the pipeline. Propelled by its success, Merck aims big in China. In recent years, Merck pumped in $280 million to build two new facilities in Nantong, China.
“The Chinese authorities are eager to learn new technologies because they know innovation is the key focus right now in China,” said Dr Bulpin of Merck, who predicted that China could be a global leader in certain areas very soon.
Johnson & Johnson, another pharmaceutical giant, is a global manufacturer of healthcare products, medical devices, and medicine. It is also the largest company in New Jersey. China Business Review described J&J this way:
“Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has been in China for over 30 years, predating the country’s economic opening in 1979. The company entered China through a technology-transfer agreement to build a chemical factory in 1979. In 1985, J&J established its first joint venture in China…
J&J companies employ roughly 6,000 people in China today and produce a wide range of consumer, pharmaceutical, and medical products… J&J is seen in many ways within China as a Chinese company—one that has grown with the nation.” (https://www.chinabusinessreview.com/johnson-johnson/)
Besides business development, J&J was also a top sponsor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a top sponsor of China’s Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
Over the past decade, Johnson & Johnson has enjoyed a rapid expansion of its business through large acquisitions and investments in China, including a $320 million deal to acquire Beijing Dabao Cosmetics Co., Ltd., and a $397 million investment plan to build a new innovative manufacturing plant.
America’s Dependence on China for Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies
While global pharmaceutical companies brought technologies and capital to China, they spurred the booming development of CRO (pharmaceutical R & D outsourcing) and CMO (pharmaceutical contract manufacturing). WuXi PharmaTech, Kanglong Chemical, and Tiger Pharmaceuticals are the three giants in this industry in China. WuXi PharmaTech, known as the “Foxconn” in the pharmaceutical industry, acquired an American CRO company called Apptec.
The CCP has implemented a series of policies to stimulate chemical exports, which spurred a large number of Chinese pharmaceutical companies. From small laboratories that make customized synthesis in the gram-level, to large chemical plants making high quantity of polyethylene, polyester, polypropylene, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), China has become the global center of chemical manufacturing.
Insiders revealed that in fact, many such manufacturing companies in China are not profitable by manufacturing alone. They have to dump at low prices, monopolize the market, then increase sales. Profits normally come from export tax rebates, government subsidies, land acquisitions and stocks. It is the CCP regime that is backing such business.
80% of the American APIs are imported from foreign countries, mostly from China and India. Many chemical raw materials in India are also purchased from China. China is the world’s largest supplier of APIs and chemical materials required for the production of many prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs and vitamins.
As China becomes the “world’s plant,” America heavily relies on China for medical supplies, including personal protection equipment that become wartime supplies in this pandemic.
At a hearing held by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC) in the Senate on July 31, 2019, Rosemary Gibson, senior consultant at Hastings Research Center, pointed out that America’s dependence on China for pharmaceutical ingredients and APIs poses a threat to US health and national security.
Such threats have become more obvious during this pandemic. The CCP’s hoarding of masks is an example. Shortly after the outbreak in Wuhan, Chinese embassies and consulates around the world called Chinese overseas to buy out masks from their local markets and send them home. These masks, upon arrival at the custom, were in fact confiscated. Later, when the pandemic reached the rest of the world, and almost all nations have no masks in stock, the CCP sold its stock at much higher prices.
Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, secretively signed a deal with the CCP to purchase $1 billion worth of masks at a shocking price of $3.3 each. Even so, the CCP’s newspaper China Press defended Newsom for his “shrewd” negotiation on the mask price as “other states were paying $7 per mask”.
“The CCP is not a political party or regime in the normal sense. It does not represent the Chinese people. It represents the communist specter. To associate with the CCP is to associate with the devil. To be friendly with the CCP is to appease the devil, aid it, and play a role in pushing humanity toward destruction. Conversely, to push back against the CCP is to engage in the battle between good and evil. This is not a simple matter of countries fighting over national interests. It is a battle for the future of humanity.”

America – a country leading liberty on this planet – must be saved to defeat the evil communists. “If America falls, there goes the entire free world,” said the conservative blogger, Trevor Loudon. American tech giants must seriously reconsider their stance towards the CCP.
