It is sure to be a celebratory occasion this year. Last year at CPAC there was much hope that there would be an end to the disastrous and corrupt Biden-Harris administration, but it was tempered by concerns of a repeat of 2020, that is, an election with much fraud that never got the scrutiny it deserved.
Biden left office in a disgraceful manner, laying traps for President Trump, and announcing policies that he had avoided implementing during his 4 years in office, such as authorizing Ukraine to use long range missiles to attack inside Russia, after slow-walking promised military aid for years. Why not? It’s Trump’s problem now.
According to Lee Zeldin, the new EPA Administrator, Biden left a $20 billion green energy slush fund parked at Citibank.
In his final month in office, he attempted to permanently ban offshore drilling in 625 million acres of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
The corruption and mismanagement of the Biden administration was massive, and perhaps the worst of it was the tens of millions of dollars his family took from China, and proceeded to act like it. We can’t forget the disastrous exit from Afghanistan and all the consequences of that.
The Daily Caller cited “Federal watchdog reports and other documents show former President Joe Biden’s aid programs funneled the money [more than $1.3 billion] toward a network of terrorism in the Muslim world — largely by reversing Trump-era policies.”
The open southern border, which Biden and Mayorkas assured us was secured, is another lasting scar on Biden’s legacy, which has been largely shut down.
Now we will see how effective Trump’s administration will be in cutting the fraud, waste and abuse, and doing what it takes to end the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, without hurting our allies.
And we learned also, through DOGE, how news organizations like Politico, the Associated Press and the New York Times have been the recipients of millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars under the Biden administration. Would Biden’s administration have gotten the same soft treatment from the media if they weren’t being paid for it? Probably. But it just adds to the story of a corrupt mainstream news media that spins everything about Trump in the most negative way and spent years overlooking the corruption and incompetence of the Biden administration.
