On November 11, less than a week after Election Day, President-elect Donald Trump named former acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement director Tom Homan as his “border czar.”

This interview is from 2022, but you will learn a lot about him and issues that the 5 to 8 minute interviews on network or cable TV don’t have time to get into. We discuss his background, and many of the issues surrounding the immigration and border security issues. What is the difference between encounters and apprehensions? How much control do the Mexican cartels have over the traffic coming across the border? What is the Biden administration really up to with their open border policy? What role does the media have in all this?

There are a few places where the audio isn’t great, so I recommend that you open the “Close Caption” feature, “CC,” so the words will appear on the screen
