For centuries, America has been the shining city on the hill, the land of opportunity, a unique Republic with liberty and justice for all. A home created by people thoroughly imbued with the aspiration for truth and understanding. A free society under the rule of law, with strong institutions of faith and family, and with foundational principles of honor, fidelity, and patriotism. A place where all citizens had God-Given Rights to things like free speech, self-defense, fair trials, and due process.
These have been displaced by immorality in our entertainment, dishonesty of our media and elected officials, intensive censorship in social media and the public square, the suppression of dissent, and, yes, even public safety, secure borders, and honest elections. Along with this came the dumbing down of schools run by irresponsible educators who led students to reject traditional values and norms. American Patriots are now deemed to be “the most dangerous terrorists,” including soccer moms who protest at their local school boards.
After the stolen 2020 election, the Biden administration even set up an Orwellian Ministry of Truth (“paused” due to public outrage) and redirected our military and federal agencies from War Fighting to political correctness, gender issues, and targeting political opponents and involvement in unnecessary no-win wars.
In 1980 an obscure internal U.S. Army concept paper, “From PSYOP to MindWar,” accidentally became public. Though only a brief, theoretical speculation, it exploded into the focus of alarmist rumors and debates for the next three decades. Is our government involved in the invasion of the mind beyond the blundering, haphazard legacy of the infamous MKULTRA experiments? Even more unsettling, do such efforts extend beyond conventional scientific research to dark and arcane arts whose very existence is the stuff of legend? Originally intended for the eyes of government policymakers alone, it is now openly available. Ironically, MindWar is unclassified only because a level high enough to embrace it has never been anticipated or even conceptualized. What it is capable of setting in motion is simply beyond all previous human interactive experiences.
For millennia violent warfare has been the scourge of humanity, and all attempts to end it through negotiated or imposed peace have brought only temporary respite. On the premise that war is endemic to the human disposition, MindWar proposes to eliminate its killing and destruction by replacing it with a far more powerful kind of war that focuses on the human mind individually and collectively. The persons and property of people are removed as targets, replaced by the divisive situations and problems originating in their consciousness. These are then controlled, adjusted, and reformed to produce a harmonious and cooperative total environment.
The price for this solution is that, for the first time in practical history, the actual machinery of human thought is accessed, by the methodical application of science, psychology, and esoteric arts of antiquity. MindWar assumes, as did the ancients, that the ultimate aspiration of mankind is for the Good. But, like the Manhattan Project which rashly opened an earlier genie’s bottle, MindWar could be misused with even more ominous consequences. Devised to save humanity, it could also supersede it. Hence this genie must be examined and evaluated while its bottle is still sealed.
Not merely a “military book,” MindWar extends its application to human political and social interaction, identifying and refining what were previously only vague or unknown mental processes into a new science of “thought architecture.” It opens the door to a standard of rationality and precision in human affairs in which the experience and exercise of thought are fully mature.”
Now to the present. China’s military machine seeks to dominate globally with the US as the main target using advanced Information Warfare, Electronic Warfare, and Psychological Warfare. The Generals leading advanced Chinese Armed Forces have openly declared that information warfare and biological warfare will be sufficient to defeat the United States versus kinetic warfare. The Pentagon’s China Military Report released on November 29, 2022, states the Chinese regime is expanding its global military presence and are adopting modern technologies and doctrines aimed at preventing the United States from intervening in any wars initiated by the United States.
The Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) as described in the report considers information operations (IO) that has focused on achieving dominance early in any campaign (Taiwan, for example). When you combine this IO warfare with land, air, sea, and space, you will see the most destructive warfare in the history of mankind. After securing and defeating Taiwan, the expansion will eject the United States from the Asia-Pacific region and finally displace it as the world superpower. This will give China, then, control over global events.
My concern is the preparedness of the US Military and that of Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand as an alliance to prevent the ambitions of China. Do we have the Generals and Admirals that can forge a strategy to counter the ambition of China? With the WOKE senior officers, political appointees in this administration today, and politicized agencies) CIA and FBI), I am frightened that we are not prepared to face what confronts us. Will Mind War prevail over “Mindless” leadership?
