Perhaps you remember the experiment conducted by Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov in the 1890s, now known as Pavlovian conditioning, classical conditioning. We have come to understand it in these terms: the more you reward bad behavior, the more bad behavior you will get.
I cannot think of anything more reflective of Pavlovian conditioning than the ongoing episode with Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar. Her last anti-Semitic ranting was rewarded with incessant excuses about her not understanding culture and language. The call for a resolution against her actions was greeted by a resounding challenge from the likes of Ocasio-Cortez and Louis Farrakhan. As a matter of fact, you were deemed racist and sexist for criticizing Ilhan Omar. Therefore, there was no resolution naming her specifically for her anti-Semitic rhetoric. It was just a bunch of plain blather.
So, as Ivan Pavlov highlighted, what do you expect to receive when you reward bad behavior?

“The New York Post on Thursday hit back at Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., following her recent comments on the September 11, 2001 terror attacks on the U.S.
The dramatic front page had an infamous photo of New York City’s Twin Towers on fire on the day of the attacks. The towers collapsed after they were hit by planes that were hijacked. Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the attacks.
The page read: “Rep. Ilhan Omar: 9/11 was ‘some people did something.’”
“Here’s your something: 2,977 people dead by terrorism.”
The bottom of the cover read in small lettering: “Omar outraged the families of 9/11 victims by referring dismissively to the terrorist attacks while speaking to a Muslim lobbying group.”
The Post was referring to Omar’s recent comments at the Council of American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] fundraiser last month where she called upon other Muslim-Americans to “make people uncomfortable” with their activism.
However, another part of the speech surfaced on social media this week in which Omar described the terror attacks perpetrated by Al Qaeda.
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said at the event.
Her comments prompted a response from Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, a former Navy SEAL who lost his right eye after being injured by an IED in Afghanistan.
“First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something,’” Crenshaw wrote in a tweet. “Unbelievable.”
On 9-11, I was serving as an exchange officer to the United States Marine Corps’ II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) at Camp Lejeune, NC. We had just finished morning physical training and I had taken my shower and was dressing in my office when the call came. We rushed to the operations center just in time to see the second plane strike Tower II. As well, one of my dear friends in the Army, Brian Birdwell, was severely injured, burned, as he was assigned to the Pentagon when the other plane struck it. I know who killed nearly 3000 Americans on September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists, jihadists, from Al Qaeda led by Osama bin Laden. If it is too hard for Rep. Ilhan Omar, a US Congresswoman, to say such, then she should not be a US Congresswoman.
Already there are progressive socialist leftist media outlets trying to excuse away what Omar stated. However, it cannot be excused that a member of our US House of Representatives — who sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee — was addressing an organization, CAIR, that is an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Islamic terrorist funding trial in US history, the Holy Land Foundation, right here in Texas. This is an organization that has confirmed ties to the Islamic terrorist groups Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. A member of Congress, who has access to classified information is openly supporting this organization?
The question is simple: how does Nancy Pelosi respond to someone who referred to the most horrific attack on our homeland, on Americans, as “some people did something?” What does New York Senator, Chuck Schumer do about this utter disrespect and dismissal? All of us were not starting to lose our civil liberties Ms. Omar, but nearly 3,000 Americans did lose their lives because of Islamic terrorism . . . just as with the attacks on the Pulse Nightclub, San Bernardino, Ft. Hood, Chattanooga Naval Reserve Station, Moore Oklahoma poultry plant, and various other uses of vehicles, such as at Ohio State University and in New York City by Islamic terrorists.
Rep. Ilhan Omar must be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. And, yes, there is a bit of vindication for Judge Jeanine Pirro as we should all call into question the loyalties of Rep. Omar. This is not just bad behavior, it is treacherous and treasonous behavior.
If the progressive socialist left seeks to defend these actions and words, then they are sealing their fate. It may be cool and acceptable, within the circles of PC leftist elitists, to pander to Islamic jihadists here in America. But to the greater American public, it is despicable and disgusting. The actions of a US member of Congress, speaking before a group like CAIR and saying what she did is inexcusable. And, if the Democrat (socialist] Party refuses to deal with this individual and this issue then We the People shall, next November, by delivering a crushing defeat to a political party that has embraced anti-Semitism, and appears to be anti-American.
Let’s all see what Nancy Pelosi, and New York Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Eliot Engel will do. Or, will another New York member of Congress, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, once again come to the rescue of her fellow freshman, with whom she was all giddy on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Can you imagine, a New York member of Congress defending, standing by someone saying something to dismiss the Islamic terrorist attack that killed fellow New Yorkers? We shall also find out where Ocasio-Cortez’s loyalties lie.
