C-124’s., RB-66C/WB-66D/ and B-66B Aircraft Commander, with additional duty Sqdn. Maint officer for 24 B-66 aircraft, Flt.Test M/O, ME Instructor Pilot, Aide-de-Camp/Pilot MAJ COM Commander. Flew entire career logging 6500 hours in 15 types of USAF aircraft. Commander Air Lift Forces Bold Eagle 80. Graduate Air War College. Awarded Distinguished Service Medal, Received 5 AF Outstanding Unit Awards plus 13 other Decorations. Recalled to Active Duty twice. Worked with White House staff 1980- 1986 and received letter from Pres. Reagan read at Military retirement activities. Member of Daedalians, ROA, MOAA, Stand Up America, CCB now CCNS. Founder of New America First Foundation now transferred to Citizens Commission On National Security.
Hired by FAA to be assigned to Boeing Factory as first Ops. Inspector on B-747, then under construction, as Air Carrion Operations Inspector. In the int-rm qualified as Inspector B-727 & B-737, Flight Engineer B-727 1967 & 1968. Re-called to Active Duty for Pueblo Crisis before B-747 was completed for flight.
